New intake for our TechWomen programme

They’re the new intake in our year-long development programme – nominated or selected for their potential in key technology, commercial and operational roles.
We’ve designed TechWomen to address the challenges they tell us they’re facing as they look to progress in their careers.
Launched last year in it builds on our previous Women in Technology programme.
Programme sponsor Rachel Higham, Managing Director CIO says: “TechWomen creates an inclusive environment and supportive network that allows our women to thrive.
“They go on a very personal journey. They take on new skills, build a great network and gain the clarity and confidence to take the next step in their career that’s right for them.”
But it’s very much a two-way deal, she adds.
“Everyone on the programme enters into an agreement to get involved in one of our volunteering activities and become mentors or buddies for the following year’s participants. It means everyone who takes part has the chance to give back and help others.”
In the UK, training is face-to-face in three locations: the South, Midlands and North. Outside the UK, we’re delivering training to virtual groups over WebEx. And we’re holding masterclasses, inviting inspiring external guest speakers and leaders from across our business to share their career stories.
